Arthur Lazenby Liberty had a vision, and that vision helped create one of London’s shopping landmarks, which still plays an important part in the retail life of Regent Street today. The home and fashion store has also been joined by a London boutique, and an online shopping portal.
Today the website is a hub not just for a host of fashion designers, but also the Liberty of London label, which produces a mix of modern and traditional fashions. The label produces lines for men and women, along with accessories, bags, scarves, bath products, and stationery. In the women’s wear section, floral prints are proving popular, with the Floral Bug design available on silk or Chiffon Skirts, Tea Dresses, and Empire Dresses. There’s also Silk Shirts and Trapeze Tops, Cashmere Cardigans, buckle belts, and swimwear. Cashmere also features in the menswear collection, with Tank Tops, V Neck Jumpers, and Cardigans, in low key colours. For something more colourful there’s cotton Polo Shirts, and Skinny Fit Shirts in tropic, yellow garden flower, stingray and Egyptian prints. Their high end men’s fashion also extends to Cufflinks, Ties, Leather Belts, Wallets, and Silk Scarves.
Designer names also showcasing their work at Liberty include Barbour, Marc Jacobs, Kurt Geiger, Chloe, Pringle, and Givenchy. New items for men include Music Is The Best T-Shirt by Lost Property, Grey Worker Cotton Trousers by Oliver Spencer, and Grey Tonal Stripe Hooded Top by Nom de Guerre. Women can choose from the Red Geometric Monroe Dress by Vivienne Westwood, the Fuchsia Massachusetts Tee by American Vintage, and Black Zulu Wool Trousers by Acne.
Shoppers can also indulge themselves in the collections of luxury bath, beauty, gift, and home products. Examples of body and bath products include Jasmine Body Milk from Korres, Moody Cow Bath and Massage Oil from Cowshed, and Indulging Shower and Bath Foam from Green and Spring. There’s also a range of gift sets available, including the Mens Shaving Ritual Gift Set from ESPA, and Discovery Candle Set from Diptyque. Also look out for ‘exclusive’ to Liberty colours among the make up products. Finally, shoppers can end their online surfing with a visit to Liberty’s home section, and view a charming range of Rugs, Furniture, Lighting, and Cushions. These are just a sample of the products available from one of London’s great shopping institutions, and with all these and many more products available, there’s no reason why all of you can’t help ensure Arthur Lazenby Liberty’s legacy lives on for many years to come.
